Charley'S Favorite Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. cooked mashed sweet potatoes
1/3 c. butter, melted
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. ground nutmeg (optional)
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1 unbaked pie shell
1/3 c. milk
1/2 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
1 c. sugar (less if desired)

Preparation

Combine sweet potatoes with all ingredients.
Blend with electric mixer (or hand mix using a wooden spoon).
Pour into pie shell and bake in preheated 400\u00b0 oven about 30 minutes, or until golden brown and puffy.
