Sauerkraut Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pork sausage
    1/2 medium minced onion
    1 pt. sauerkraut, drained
    4 oz. cream cheese
    1/2 tsp. mustard
    egg wash (beaten egg with milk)
    oil (for deep frying)
    1 egg
    salt and pepper
    2 soup spoons flour
    dry bread crumbs
    flour (for dredging)
Preparation
    Brown sausage with onion; break up chunks of meat.
    Remove from heat; add drained sauerkraut, cream cheese, mustard, egg, flour, salt and pepper.
    Mix well.
    Chill; form into 1-inch balls. Flour balls; dip in egg wash. Cover with bread crumbs; chill. Deep fry in hot oil.
    Brown and float in oil.
    If you don't want to deep fry, brown in oven for 1/2 hour at 350\u00b0.
