Chocolate Fudge Ribbon Cake - cooking recipe

1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. milk
2 Tbsp. butter or oleo, softened
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
1/2 c. butter or oleo
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine cream cheese, 1 egg and 1/4 cup sugar in a medium mixing bowl; beat at high speed until smooth.
Gradually add 3 tablespoons milk and next 3 ingredients, beating well.
Set aside.
