Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. corn meal
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/2 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. milk or enough to make thick batter

Preparation

Sift together the first 4 ingredients.
Stir together with remaining ingredients.
Drop by small spoonfuls into hot oil. Turn once.
