Chicken Breasts En Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 chicken breasts, halved, boned, skinned and pounded
    6 slices baked ham
    6 slices Swiss cheese
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. flour
    3 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
    salt and pepper
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c. cream
    1/4 c. bread crumbs
    1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
Preparation
    Cook chicken breasts with 1 tablespoon butter until fully cooked.
    In a shallow baking dish, layer first the chicken, then the ham and cheese for 6 individual servings.
    Melt 1/4 cup butter in saucepan.
    Blend in flour.
    Add milk carefully; season.
    Cook, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened.
    Beat egg and cream together and add to sauce, cooking a few minutes more. Spread the sauce over the meat in the casserole.
    Sprinkle bread crumbs and parsley flakes on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
