Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sq. Baker's unsweetened chocolate (2 oz.)
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Melt chocolate and shortening in 8-inch square pan over low heat on stove top.
    Remove from heat and beat in sugar and eggs. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together and mix in.
    Add nuts. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Cut into squares.
