Sand Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. oleo
    1 tsp. baking soda
    dash of salt
    4 c. flour
Preparation
    Put shortening in large bowl.
    Add sugar.
    Mix together.
    Add eggs.
    Measure dry ingredients on piece of wax paper (flour, baking soda, powder and salt).
    Take 6 or 7 heaping tablespoonfuls of dry mixture.
    Add to sugar mixture, then add 1/8 cup of milk.
    Mix with spoon.
    Do same with flour (three different times with flour, two different times with milk).
    Get in with hands.
    Divide into three balls.
    Roll up in wax paper.
    Refrigerate overnight.
