Hoosier Persimmon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, well beaten
    2 c. milk
    3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. persimmon pulp
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell
    1 c. sour cream
    dash of vanilla
    1 1/2 oz. brandy
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Combine eggs, milk, 2 cups sugar, salt and pulp.
    Mix well.
    Turn into pastry shell.
    Bake for 30 minutes.
    Combine remaining ingredients for topping; pour over pie.
    Reduce oven temperature to 300\u00b0.
    Bake for 10 minutes or until topping is lightly browned.
