Easy Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. boiling water
1/2 c. shortening
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. warm water
1 beaten egg
3 c. sifted plain flour
Preparation

Pour boiling water over shortening, sugar and salt.
Stir until melted.
Let cool.
Dissolve yeast in warm water and add to shortening mixture.
Add egg and then flour.
Mix thoroughly. Cover with a damp cloth and put in refrigerator until ready to use.
Knead; make out rolls and place on buttered pan.
Let rise for 2 hours before baking.
Brush with margarine and bake at 425\u00b0 until browned.
