Fudge Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 sq. Baker's unsweetened chocolate
1/2 c. each hot water and sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour*
1 tsp. each baking soda and salt
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 1/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
3/4 c. milk
Preparation

Heat chocolate with water over very low heat, stirring until mixture is smooth.
Add 1/2 cup sugar; cook and stir 2 minutes longer.
Cool to lukewarm.
Add vanilla.
