Sand Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
    1/2 lb. butter or regular margarine
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    2 1/2 c. pecans, ground or finely chopped
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar together well.
    Add sifted flour, salt and nutmeg alternately with chopped nuts to creamed mixture. Form into any desired shape: crescents, balls and rolls.
    Bake about 20 minutes at 325\u00b0.
    When done, cool on cookie sheet for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Roll in powdered sugar while still warm.
    Yields approximately 3 1/2 dozen.
