Sinful Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
    1 c. boiling water
    3 medium bananas (approx. 1 cup), mashed
    1 c. chopped pecans
    2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen strawberries, thawed and drained
    1 (20 oz.) pkg. crushed pineapple, drained
    1 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    In a medium bowl, combine gelatin and boiling water.
    Stir with a rubber spatula until gelatin is completely dissolved.
    Let mixture cool and add bananas, pecans, strawberries, pineapple. Mix thoroughly and divide in half.
    Pour one half of the gelatin mixture into a 12 x 8 inch pan and refrigerate until mixture is set (about 1 hour).
    Keep the remaining gelatin at room temperature.
    Spread sour cream evenly over set gelatin.
    Cover sour cream with remaining gelatin mixture.
    Cover and refrigerate until firmly set (about 1 1/2 hours or overnight).
