Tamale Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
2 medium onions, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 c. milk
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
1/2 c. pitted ripe olives, sliced
3/4 c. yellow corn meal
2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. (or more) chili powder
Tabasco sauce to taste
Preparation

In 12-inch skillet, over moderate heat, cook beef, onions and garlic until meat loses its red color.
Stir in tomato sauce, milk, eggs, corn, olives, cornmeal, salt, chili powder and Tabasco sauce.
Turn into 2-quart oblong baking dish.
Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven until knife inserted in center comes out clean (45 minutes).
Makes 6 servings.
