Mother-In-Law'S Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    2 cans peaches or other fruit
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. milk
    1 stick butter
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    Place butter in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish and put in a 350~ oven so butter can melt while rest is being fixed. Mix flour, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg together. Stir in milk; should be like pancake batter.
Preparation
    Take pan out of oven and pour batter over butter.
    Pour fruit over batter; do not disturb layers.
    Place in oven and bake until golden brown.
    Crust will come to top.
