Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. lite brown sugar (not packed)
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    2 Tbsp. white Karo
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. white sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/16 tsp. salt
    1 3/4 c. pecans
Preparation
    In 2-quart pan (using a wooden spoon), mix sugar, milk, butter, Karo and salt.
    Cook to soft ball (about 10 minutes). Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Beat until thickens, about 1 minute.
    Drop by a tablespoon on buttered waxed paper. Yields 2 dozen.
