Peanut Blossoms - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening (don't use butter)
1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. granulated sugar
30 Hershey's Kisses

Preparation

Cream shortening and peanut butter with the brown sugar and granulated sugar.
Add egg and vanilla.
Blend thoroughly.
Sift flour, baking soda and salt.
Add dry ingredients to the peanut butter mixture.
Mix until blended well.
