Kugeli'S Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 lb. Idaho potatoes (raw)
1 large onion, diced
1 lb. bacon, diced
salt and pepper to taste
2 eggs
1 c. hot milk
sour cream or applesauce
Preparation

First fry bacon.
Saute onion in same pan.
Remove with slotted spoon.
Peel potatoes.
Grate potatoes by hand using fine side of grater.
Drain off.
Add bacon and onion to grated potato.
Add salt, pepper, eggs and hot milk to potato mixture.
Mix together. Place in ovenproof casserole dish.
Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0 until top is nicely browned.
Serve topped with sour cream or applesauce.
