Gingerbread Boys Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. molasses
1/4 c. water
2 1/2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
3/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. allspice

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar, then mix all ingredients together. Roll out 1/4-inch thick.
Cut out gingerbread boys.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in preheated 375\u00b0 oven.
Trim with icing.
