Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. quick cooking oats
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. oleo or shortening
2 eggs
1 1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Pour boiling water over oats and let stand for 20 minutes. Cream together sugar and oleo. Add eggs, well beaten. Sift together flour, soda, salt, and cinnamon and add to mixture. Bake in oblong pan for 45 minutes at 350.
