Caramel Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bag Kraft caramels
    8 Tbsp. milk
    2 sticks plus 2 Tbsp. oleo
    1 1/8 c. brown sugar
    1 1/4 c. flour
    3/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. oatmeal
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    3/4 c. walnuts
Preparation
    Melt caramels and milk in double boiler.
    Mix together oleo, sugar, flour, soda, salt and oatmeal.
    Put 1/2 the batter in a 9 x 13-inch pan (don't pat down).
    Bake 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Add 1 (12 ounce) package chocolate chips and walnuts (chopped).
    Pour caramel mix on top, then sprinkle rest of dough on top.
    Bake 15 to 20 minutes more.
