Canned Apple Pie Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 c. water
    5 c. sugar
    1 c. cornstarch
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Peel and slice the apples. Pack into quart jars. Mix together the sugar, water, cornstarch, salt, cinnamon and lemon juice. Cook until just begins to slightly thicken. Pour over apples in jars. Cook in water bath for 20 minutes. Yield: 7 to 8 quarts.
