Barbecued Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 lb. ribs
    salt and pepper
    2 to 3 c. onions
    butter
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 c. lemon juice
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    2 c. celery
    1/2 c. water
    1 small bottle catsup
Preparation
    Put spare ribs in water with salt and pepper.
    Simmer for 3 hours.
    Drain.
    Start sauce 1 hour before meat is done.
    Brown onions in butter, add brown sugar, vinegar, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, dry mustard, celery, water and catsup.
    Pour sauce over meat and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
