Gourmet Cranberry Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. orange juice
2/3 c. dry red wine
2/3 c. water
2 (12 oz.) pkg. cranberries
Preparation

Dissolve the sugar in the orange juice, red wine and water. Bring to a boil and add the two packages cranberries that have been sorted, washed, drained and any stems removed.
Reduce heat and simmer about 10 minutes until all skins have popped.
Remove from heat; cool and refrigerate.
Makes about 4 1/2 cups.
Can be prepared days ahead and double as a topping for vanilla ice cream, frozen yogurt or pudding.
