White Clam Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. oil
    2 cans minced clams
    3 small garlic cloves, chopped
    1 Tbsp. parsley
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Place oil in frying pan with garlic.
    Simmer.
    Drain the juice from cans of clams into a cup.
    Pour 1/2 cup of clam juice into pan.
    Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
    Add rest of clam juice, clams, parsley and water.
    Cook over low heat for 5 minutes.
    Serve over linguini.
