Christmas Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 carrots
    10 green tomatoes
    10 onions
    5 red peppers
    5 green peppers
    4 c. sugar
    3 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1/2 c. salt
Preparation
    Put salt over ground up vegetables. Let stand 1 hour. Mix well, rinse and squeeze out liquid. Heat vinegar, sugar and spices and pour over vegetables. Pour into jars. No need to seal. (I seal mine.)
