Baklava - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. filo
2 lb. walnuts or almonds
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 lb. melted butter
Preparation

Grind walnuts very fine.
Add sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Mix well.
Grease a 10 x 15-inch pan with melted butter.
Place 4 filo in pan.
Brush each with melted butter.
Sprinkle every thin layer with meat mixture.
Cover with 4 filo.
Brush as before.
Continue procedure until pan is full.
Brush top filo generously with melted butter and put pastry into individual pieces before baking.
Bake at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
