Ingredients

24 Oreo cookies, crushed or more
1/2 c. margarine, melted
1/2 gal. softened ice cream
1 large can evaporated milk
dash of salt
1 c. sugar
3 oz. unsweetened chocolate sq.
2 Tbsp. margarine
8 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation

Mix together Oreo cookies and 1/2 cup margarine.
Put in 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan, then freeze.
Add softened ice cream, then freeze.
In saucepan, add evaporated milk, salt, sugar, unsweetened chocolate and 2 tablespoons margarine.
Cook on medium heat until thick, then put in the freezer or refrigerator to cool. When chocolate is cooled, spread it on the ice cream, then freeze 8 ounces of Cool Whip.
Spread it on top of chocolate sauce, then freeze.
