Rhubarb Shortcake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. margarine
1 egg
milk
1 tsp. vanilla
6 c. sliced rhubarb
1 (3 oz.) pkg. raspberry or strawberry jello
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. margarine
Preparation

Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and margarine.
Cut in shortening as for pie crust.
Place egg in 1 cup measuring cup. Add milk to make 1 cup, add vanilla.
Stir until well blended. Spread in prepared pan.
Add rhubarb.
Spread over short cake. Sprinkle jello on top of rhubarb.
Combine sugar and flour in bowl.
Cut in margarine and sprinkle on top of the above.
Bake 375\u00b0 or 350\u00b0 for glass pan for 40 minutes.
