Banana Nut Muffins(Makes 18) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. mashed bananas (3 medium)
    1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening until light and fluffy.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time.
    Stir in mashed bananas.
    Add dry ingredients and stir just enough to moisten.
    Do not overbeat.
    Batter will be lumpy.
    Add nuts.
    Fill greased 3-inch muffin cups 2/3 full.
    Bake 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
