Turkish Hamburger - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground lamb
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. grated onion
    1 tsp. minced garlic
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 tsp. dried oregano
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ground cumin
    1 tsp. coarse (kosher) salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    8 French rolls, slit in half lengthwise with some of bread scooped out
    2 Italian sweet peppers, seeded and thinly sliced
    3 plum tomatoes, seeded and thinly sliced
    1 red onion, sliced
Preparation
    Put first 11 ingredients in a large bowl; work with hands to combine.
    Don't overmix.
    Form meat into 8 patties.
    Grill or broil 3 inches from medium heat.
    For rare meat, cook 8 minutes on the first side and 5 minutes after turning.
    Place patty on bottom half of each roll.
    Garnish with Italian sweet peppers, plum tomatoes and red onions, then top with remaining 1/2 of roll.
