*Ravani 1 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 c. uncooked farina
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3 sticks butter, softened
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. milk
    5 eggs, separated
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Beat egg whites (room temperature) until stiff.
    In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugar 5 minutes on medium speed.
    Add egg yolks.
    Beat 5 minutes more until light and fluffy.
    On low speed alternately beat in flour mixture with milk and vanilla mixture, blending until smooth. Blend in egg whites, beaten stiff. Add 3/4 cup nuts. Divide in two 9 x 9-inch pans or one oblong 10 x 15-inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until done.
