Corn Pone - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    4 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. boiling water
    4 c. corn meal
Preparation
    Mix well.
    Grease a tube pan.
    Let stand until it begins to bubble (2 to 4 hours).
    Bake 1 1/2 hours in a medium oven.
    Scald with 1 cup boiling water.
    Add 2 cups medium hot water.
