Super Sloppy Joshes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground meat (beef, pork, lamb or turkey)
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
    2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato juice
    1/2 c. shredded carrots
    6 whole wheat hamburger buns, split
    2 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese (1/2 c.)
Preparation
    In a 10-inch skillet, cook meat and onion until meat is brown and onion is tender.
    Drain off any excess fat.
    Stir in the prepared mustard, chili powder and salt.
    Cook and stir for 1 minute.
    Add tomato sauce, tomato juice and shredded carrots. Bring mixture to boiling; reduce heat.
    Simmer meat mixture, uncovered, for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
