Ham Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 lb. ground ham
    3/4 lb. lean pork (ground)
    1 egg, beaten and mixed with meat
    1 c. milk
    bread crumbs (enough to soak up milk)
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/3 c. vinegar or crushed pineapple
    1/3 c. water
Preparation
    Make the first 5 ingredients into a loaf. Bring the last 3 ingredients to a boil. Add a couple of pinches of ground cloves and a pinch of salt. Baste loaf 2 or 3 times with this mixture.
