Swedish Rye Bread - cooking recipe

3 c. unsifted rye flour
1 Tbsp. grated orange peel
1 Tbsp. anise seed, crushed
2 pkg. active dry yeast
2 1/4 c. water
2/3 c. honey
2 Tbsp. margarine
1 Tbsp. salt
3 1/2 to 4 c. unsifted flour
Preparation

Grease 3 (1-1/2 quart) round ovenproof bowls.
In large bowl, combine 2 cups rye flour, orange peel, anise seed and yeast.
In medium saucepan, heat water, honey, margarine and salt until lukewarm.
Gradually add liquid to dry ingredients and beat at low speed until moistened.
Add remaining rye flour and 1 cup flour, beat 2 minutes with wooden spoon, stir in 2 1/2 cups flour or enough to make soft dough.
