Fried Apples - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 or 5 bacon slices
8 to 9 medium tart apples
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. water
Preparation

Cook bacon until crisp.
Peel and slice apples.
Put in pan with bacon grease.
Cook, covered, until nearly tender.
Add water and finish cooking.
Crumble bacon over apples before serving.
