Cocoa Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. butter or shortening
    4 eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. cocoa
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. flour
    1 c. nutmeats
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Add eggs and beat.
    Add salt, cocoa and vanilla.
    Add flour; beat until smooth and then fold in nuts. Bake in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan for 30 minutes at 325\u00b0.
    While warm, spread with powdered sugar or these may be frosted when cool.
