Divinity Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    2 egg whites
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. white syrup
Preparation
    Put sugar, water and syrup in heavy pan.
    Boil to soft ball stage.
    While it is boiling, beat egg whites until stiff.
    Add vanilla, beating.
    Pour half of cooked syrup over egg whites slowly, beating all the time.
    Boil remaining syrup to crack stage.
    Add to egg mixture, beating all the time again.
    Drop onto wax paper.
