Raisin Squares - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
1 3/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda (put into raisins after cooking)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. cooked raisins
1/2 c. raisin liquid
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add egg and remaining ingredients.
Be sure to cool raisins and liquid before mixing. Bake on greased cookie sheet for 20 minutes at 375\u00b0.
Frost immediately with white powdered sugar frosting.
