Canned Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    13 qt. shredded cabbage
    12 c. sugar
    8 bells peppers, chopped
    4 onions, chopped
    1 tsp. turmeric
    2 small jars pimento with juice
    1/4 c. coarse salt
    3 qt. vinegar
Preparation
    Mix all together and let stand overnight.
    Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
    Do not cook.
    Makes 12 quarts.
