Christmas Special Fruitcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. coarsely chopped nuts
    1 lb. pitted dates, chopped
    1 c. halved maraschino cherries
    3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. each: salt and baking powder
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    In a mixing bowl, combine nuts, dates and cherries.
    In another bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; add to nut mixture, stirring until nuts and fruit are well coated. Beat eggs until foamy.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Fold into nut mixture. Mix well.
