Fresh Blender Applesauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 large cooking apples, peeled, cored and cubed (4 c.)
1/4 c. water
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
Preparation

In a blender (food processor) fitted with metal blade, combine apples, water, lemon juice, sugar and cinnamon (if desired). Process until mixture is smooth.
If you want to serve warm, transfer to saucepan and bring to a boil or microwave for 3 minutes.
If you want to serve cold, cool, cover and refrigerate until chilled.
Makes 2 cups.
