Plum Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. firm, ripe plums
    1 1/4 c. white wine vinegar
    2 cloves
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. fresh chopped mint
Preparation
    Wash and pit the plums.
    Stew them in the vinegar with the cloves and sugar until they are tender.
    Remove the cloves and puree the mixture in a blender or food processor.
    Put the sauce in a saucepan, and add the mint.
    Reheat.
    If you find the sauce is a little too sharp, add more sugar.
