Ingredients

1 c. flour
1/2 c. syrup
1 c. nuts, chopped
1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. brown sugar (packed)
Preparation

Sift flour.
Blend flour and nuts.
Bring syrup, butter, and sugar to boil in pan over medium heat; gradually stir in flour and nuts.
Drop batter by level teaspoon full about 3 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 or 9 cookies at a time.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 5 to 6 minutes.
Let set a little before taking off cookie sheet.
