Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. brown sugar
3 eggs
c. cocoa
1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
3 c. flour
3 tsp. soda sifted with flour
3/4 c. hot water (add last)
Preparation

Cream brown sugar and eggs together.
Add cocoa to egg mixture and blend well.
Add sour milk or buttermilk to cocoa mixture and blend well.
Add sifted flour mixture to cocoa mixture and blend well.
Add hot water to cocoa mixture and blend well. Pour cake batter into 2 (9-inch) round pans or 1 (13 x 9-inch) pan and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven until done.
