Fried Okra - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. small okra
1 egg, beaten
1 c. cornmeal or cracker crumbs
1 c. bacon fat
Preparation

Slice okra; dip in egg.
Coat well with cornmeal.
In frypan, melt fat over medium heat and fry okra until well browned and crisp.
Drain on absorbent paper.
