Escalloped Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken, cubed
    12 slices dried bread cubes
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 tsp. ground sage
    1/4 c. broth
    3/4 tsp. salt and pepper
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1 qt. broth
    4 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Place chicken in pan.
    Make stuffing by mixing bread cubes, melted butter, sage, onion, salt, pepper and 1/4 cup broth.
    Place bread mixture over chicken.
    Make gravy by thickening 1 quart broth with flour (make flour into paste before adding to broth). Stir over heat until thickened.
    Pour gravy over chicken and bread.
    Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
