Creole Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    2 c. sugar
    2 level Tbsp. cocoa
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    2 eggs
    1 c. plain flour
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs and flour.
    Gradually add buttermilk.
    Add 1 teaspoon baking soda to 1 cup boiling water. Gradually add to cake mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0.
    Batter will be thin.
