Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1/3 c. flour (self-rising)
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 stick margarine
    4 apples, chopped
    1 small tub Cool Whip
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cook first 3 ingredients until thick and add margarine.
    Chop apples; put in after mixture has cooled.
    Stir all together.
    Put in dish.
    Add Cool Whip on top.
    Add chopped nuts.
