Lime Ginger Ale Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime Jell-O
    1/2 c. boiling water
    pinch of salt
    1 1/2 c. (12 oz. bottle or can) ginger ale
    1/2 c. celery, cut in small pieces
    1/2 c. chopped and peeled apples
    1/2 c. nut meats, chopped
Preparation
    Dissolve Jell-O and salt in boiling water.
    Cool and add ginger ale.
    When slightly thickened, add celery, apples and nut meats.
    Chill and serve on lettuce with mayonnaise thinned with a fruit juice.
